When the nitrogen generator is running normally and the air separation equipment is also running normally, it is necessary to switch the program to automatic mode. When switching, the following should be noted.

(1) During the operation of the molecular sieve adsorber, it is necessary to regularly monitor the temperature curve of the molecular sieve and the content of carbon dioxide at the outlet to determine whether the adsorber is working properly.

(2) It is necessary to closely monitor the switching program of the adsorber and whether the switching pressure difference is normal. In case of any malfunction, it should be dealt with promptly.

(3) Pay close attention to whether the freezer is operating normally. In case of short-term malfunction causing an increase in air outlet temperature, the switching cycle of the adsorber should be shortened in a timely manner, and the malfunction should be eliminated in a timely manner.

(4) When boosting the air compressor, it should be done slowly to prevent excessive air velocity. When inflating the low-temperature system or adding load to the system (starting the expander, opening the throttle valve, etc.), it should be done slowly to prevent pressure fluctuations in the system.

(5) When the air separation equipment is stopped, the main air valve after the adsorber and the switching valves of the purification system should be immediately closed to avoid excessive airflow velocity during restart and impact on the molecular sieve bed. An important aspect of managing molecular sieve adsorbers is managing the "switching device".

Check the purifier once a week to see if the specified temperature is reached during the regeneration and cooling process, and if the switching time complies with regulations. If there are any abnormalities, adjustments should be made. After using the adsorber for two years, the fragmentation of the molecular sieve particles should be measured. If necessary, remove all sieves, remove particles, carefully blow the sieves, and remove particles and powder deposited on them. Add or replace molecular sieves according to regulations, do not choose unidentified molecular sieves, and ensure that the adsorption layer reaches the specified thickness.
