Large-scale industrial nitrogen production generally adopts the traditional cryogenic method, that is, first deep-cold and liquefy the air, and then distill, separate and extract the oxygen, nitrogen and other components through the different boiling points of the components in the air. The main characteristics of the cryogenic method are large nitrogen production and high nitrogen purity, but the process is complicated, the equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance costs are high, and the land occupation is large. It is suitable for large-scale centralized nitrogen production.

 

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen production technology has the characteristics of high degree of automation, simple process flow, small footprint, fast start-up, convenient operation and maintenance, low operating cost, and low investment. When the nitrogen output is less than 4,000 m3/h, the economic benefits of PSA nitrogen production technology are significantly better than cryogenic nitrogen production.

 

Nitrogen generator industrial production process is compressed by an air compressor. When the air pressure reaches 0.8 MPa, it enters the SLAD-30NF cold dryer to remove a large amount of moisture in the air, and then passes through a precision filter for further dust and oil removal, and enters the KCG-3/10 air buffer tank for pressure stabilization, which serves as the raw gas for the PSA nitrogen generator. The pretreated air enters the adsorption tower equipped with molecular sieves, and completes the adsorption, pressure equalization, analysis, flushing, and inflation processes in sequence, and then continuously produces nitrogen.
