The pressure swing adsorption oxygen generator is an automated equipment that uses zeolite molecular sieve as an adsorbent, and utilizes the principles of pressure adsorption and pressure reduction desorption to adsorb and release nitrogen from the air, thereby separating oxygen. Zeolite molecular sieve is a type of adsorbent made by special pore processing technology, with spherical particles covered in micropores on the surface and inside, appearing white in color. Its pore characteristics enable it to achieve dynamic separation of 02 and N2. The separation effect of zeolite molecular sieve on 02 and N2 is based on the slight difference in the dynamic diameter of these two gases. N2 molecules have a faster diffusion rate in the micropores of zeolite molecular sieve, while O2 molecules have a slower diffusion rate. The diffusion of water and CO2 in compressed air is not much different from that of nitrogen. The oxygen molecules are enriched from the adsorption tower.
The principle of pressure swing adsorption is to utilize the selective adsorption characteristics of zeolite molecular sieves, using a cycle of pressure adsorption and pressure desorption to alternately introduce compressed air into the adsorption tower for air separation, thereby continuously producing high-purity product oxygen.
