Working principle and process flow of pressure swing adsorption oxygen generator

 

PSA oxygen generator is developed based on the principle that the adsorbent has different adsorption capacity for different gas components when it is under different pressure conditions at room temperature, and completes air separation through pressure swing adsorbent. When air passes through the adsorption bed under a certain pressure condition at room temperature, the adsorbent (nitrogen, etc.) is adsorbed on the adsorption bed, and oxygen is separated. When the adsorbent on the adsorption bed approaches a certain saturation state, the air is cut off and the adsorption bed is depressurized, and the adsorbent desorbs by itself. When the pressure inside the adsorption bed drops to a certain condition, the adsorbent is desorbed and the adsorption bed resumes its adsorption capacity. This process is called fresh absorption. In this way, multiple beds are operated in a cycle to continuously separate oxygen.
