For large and medium-sized PSA devices (large > 100 Nm'/h; medium 1~100 Nm/h), it is generally appropriate to operate each adsorption tower (bed) for 40~70s. If the cycle time is too short, the empty tower speed in the adsorption tower will increase, causing the adsorbent to flow or even pulverize; for small (<1Nm/h, O2) PSA devices, the operation time of each tower can be selected to be 5~30s, so that the effect of using less adsorbent to produce a large amount of oxygen can be achieved.

Therefore, the operation time is called fast PSA. Of course, attention should also be paid to pressing the adsorbent firmly to prevent flow.

Generally speaking, the adsorption amount of the adsorbent increases with the increase of the adsorption pressure. Therefore, appropriately increasing the adsorption pressure can reduce the input of the adsorbent, but this will increase the desorption gas volume, reduce the product gas yield, and increase energy consumption. For large and medium-sized PSA oxygen devices with vacuum desorption, the adsorption pressure of the ZMS tower is generally less than 0.2 MPa, and the adsorption pressure of the CMS tower is generally 0.2~0.6MPa; the adsorption pressure of atmospheric desorption is generally 0.2~0.45 MPa. For medium and small PSA oxygen devices with atmospheric desorption, the adsorption pressure is generally 0.2~0.45 MPa; for medium and small PSA oxygen devices with vacuum desorption, the adsorption pressure is generally 0.1~0.2 MPa, and the desorption pressure is generally 11~60kPa.

 

PSA method for high-concentration oxygen advantages

 

The development of the high-concentration oxygen production process of NEWTEK industrial oxygen generator machine is manifested in the development and research of new adsorbents and the improvement of the quality of existing adsorbent varieties on the one hand; on the other hand, it is manifested in the continuous improvement of the process equipment itself. The final effect of measuring whether a circulation mode is advanced or not should be reflected in whether it improves product purity and product yield, whether it can reduce equipment investment and reduce unit energy consumption of products. For large and medium-sized devices, vacuum desorption is used and the desorption gas of the secondary adsorption tower is recycled and reused to reduce energy consumption and increase the yield of product oxygen. The tower at the end of adsorption is reversely flushed with part of the product gas to replace the adsorbed impurities in it, which can enhance the regeneration effect. A small storage tank is connected in parallel next to the product storage tank. The product gas within the first 3~5s of each tower oxygen output is first introduced into the small storage tank, and then introduced into the large product oxygen storage tank. If the product quality is found to be unqualified, this section of gas can be introduced into the small storage tank to prevent the unqualified product gas from contaminating the product storage tank to ensure product quality. The gas in the small storage tank is returned to the secondary adsorption tower as pressurized gas or sent back to the raw gas pipeline as raw gas.
