1. Convenient and fast production of nitrogen
Compared with traditional nitrogen production methods, it has the characteristics of simple process flow, high degree of automation, fast gas production, convenient operation and maintenance, low operating cost, and strong adaptability of the device. Advanced technology and unique airflow distributor make the airflow distribution more uniform, and efficiently use carbon molecular sieves to provide qualified nitrogen in about 20 minutes. When a large amount of nitrogen is required for protection in the sudden state of the production device, the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production equipment can be started at any time as long as there is sufficient gas source; while cryogenic nitrogen production takes 20 hours from start-up to production of qualified nitrogen.

Cryogenic nitrogen production equipment has many ancillary equipment, occupies a large area, has high investment, and slow effect.
3. Nitrogen supply method is more economical and simple
PSA nitrogen production process is a simple nitrogen production method, using air as raw material, and the energy consumption is only the electricity consumed by the air compressor. It has the advantages of low operating cost, low energy consumption and high efficiency;
The nitrogen pressure of pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production technology is stable, fast starting, and suitable for frequent starting; the nitrogen outlet pressure can reach more than 0.5MPa, and can be directly transported to various nitrogen-using devices by entering the nitrogen supply network. Deep cold nitrogen production equipment starts slowly and is not suitable for frequent starting. The nitrogen outlet pressure is low and needs to be pressurized by the compressor before it can be sent to users.
4. Realize automatic operation of flow and purity
Adopt DCS control for fully automatic operation, the nitrogen flow, pressure and purity are adjustable and continuously displayed, and unattended operation can be realized. The purity of nitrogen produced by pressure swing adsorption can be adjusted arbitrarily within the range of 95.0%~99.9%. Under the condition that other conditions remain unchanged, the greater the nitrogen discharge, the lower the purity of nitrogen, and vice versa. For pressure swing adsorption nitrogen making equipment, as long as the load allows, the nitrogen purity requirements of different devices are adjusted. When the nitrogen purity decreases, the nitrogen output will be greatly increased.
Using pressure swing adsorption nitrogen making equipment to produce nitrogen
Using pressure swing adsorption nitrogen making equipment to use the air supply system pipeline network for peak-shaving air volume to produce nitrogen can not only alleviate the problem of insufficient nitrogen in the refinery, but also reduce the waste caused by venting excess air volume. The full-load operation produces 39,000 Nm3/h of air volume, and the maximum adjustable surplus air volume is 13,200 Nm3/h. According to the daily air consumption, the adjustable air volume is 8900 Nm3/h. Apply pressure swing adsorption nitrogen making equipment to produce nitrogen using excess compressed air. The pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production equipment can produce nitrogen with a purity of 99%, with a minimum output of 1176 Nm3/h and a maximum output of 3168 Nm3/h; the minimum output of nitrogen with a purity of 98% is 1960 Nm3/h and a maximum output of 5280 Nm3/h.
